Training Herbalis Offers Free Local Consultation

Leila Mayne, with her husband and three daughters, has lived in Scotland for the past eight years. She has had a lifelong interest in herbal medicine and in the last few years has finally felt able to bring this to fruition. She has just completed the first two years of a four year BSc Honours degree course in Herbal Medicine, with the Scottish School of Herbal Medicine.

Her third year is just about to start, and part of the requirement of completing the course is clinical practice, which involves observing a fully qualified Herbalist consulting with patients.

Once the consultation is completed, time is taken to discuss the various aspects relating to the patient’s complaint, followed by the diagnosis and prescription; plus any necessary advice that may be given to the patient.

Herbal medicine is a holistic medicine which takes into account the whole body’s health when considering a specific complaint. The consultation leads to a course of herbal medicine, which gently and safely corrects ill-health patterns.

Student Clinic
Leila told Comment “I have been incredibly lucky to have found Jacqui Hazzard, who is a fully qualified Herbalist and she has agreed to give up some of her precious time to supervise me through my training.”

No Fee & Low Cost Treatment
So Leila wants to spread the news that a student clinic has been set up by Jacqui in Pitnacree, Strathtay, who no consultation fees and low cost herbal prescriptions available for children and those on benefits.

The student clinic is available on Mondays, so if you would like to get more information on suitability, remedying of ailments or to make an appointment then contact Leila on 01250 881487. “An opportunity not to be missed!” reckoned Leila.
